Tea Poached Shrimp

Ingredients (serves four people)

  • 16 pc Shrimp
  • 2 Tablespoons Green Tea
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • ¼ cup Cocktail Sauce
  • 4 pc Lemon Wedges
  • Ice as Needed


1. In a medium sized cooking pot, heat 1 quart of water to a boil along with the salt. Once the water boils, remove from the heat and add the tea leaves. Add the shrimp, then cook for four minutes. Once four minutes pass, remove the shrimp from the cooking liquid and chill in the refrigerator.

2. Place the ice in a martini glass, then place the shrimp around the outside of the glass. Place the cocktail sauce in the middle of the glass and garnish with the lemon wedge. Serve chilled.
